RePack by Expands Operations with 7,500 m² Warehouse in Marmande, France

RePack has officially launched a new operational warehouse in Marmande, located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France.

Spanning 7,500 square meters, this facility represents a significant step in the company's strategic expansion across France and Europe, furthering its commitment to improving service efficiency and sustainability in packaging solutions.

RePack, originally founded in Finland, entered the French market in 2018 and has steadily increased its presence there. The new warehouse in Marmande marks a major milestone in its European growth strategy, designed to enhance the company's capacity to serve European markets more effectively and meet the rising demand for sustainable packaging solutions.

Peter Peltonen, Chief Operating Officer of RePack, emphasized the importance of this development: "The opening of our Marmande warehouse is a significant advancement in our European expansion. It allows us to streamline our operations and enhance the speed and efficiency with which we can serve our customers across Europe. Our goal is to reduce carbon emissions and optimize our reuse cycles, making this facility a critical asset in achieving those objectives."

Enhancing Efficiency and Sustainability for E-commerce Deliveries

The Marmande warehouse is designed to optimize inventory management, increase processing capacity, and reduce the time and distance needed to return reusable packages.

This improvement will enable RePack to manage returns more swiftly, allowing for faster reintegration of packages into the supply chain. Additionally, the warehouse’s strategic location near key distribution points will help minimize transportation-related carbon emissions.

RePack anticipates that the new facility will lead to a reduction in inventory needs by up to 50%, resulting in significant decreases in emissions from both manufacturing and transportation processes.

The opening of the Marmande facility is a pivotal step in RePack’s European growth and sustainability strategy.

This expansion will support the company’s long-term objectives of reducing delivery emissions and enhancing environmental responsibility in the packaging industry.
